Herbert Judon

​Herbert Judon is the Assistant Aviation Director for Operations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).  His responsibilities include airside operations, landside operations, terminal customer service, airport security and public safety.

Mr. Judon has been employed for 17 years at CLT, where his career in aviation has included responsibilities in the following areas:

  • Assistant Aviation Director of Operations
  • Airport Operations Manager
  • Airport Facilities Manager
  • Airport Ground Transportation Manager
  • Airport Operations Officer

In addition to his experience in aviation, Herbert’s career has included:

  • Manager of Security, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools
  • Logistics Officer, North Carolina National Guard, (Bronze Star Medal recipient for service during Operation Iraqi Freedom)
  • Air Support Operator, U.S. Marine Corps

Herbert Judon attended UNCC where he received a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He is also a 2010 graduate of the UNC School of Government Municipal Administration Course.
