Officer Clifford Ford
On October 24, 2013, Officer Clifford Ford with the Hickory Grove Division responded to a suspicious person call for service at an ATM location where an armed robbery previously occurred in the Albemarle Road corridor. Officer Ford arrived at the location and immediately observed an individual matching the suspicious suspect who appeared to be armed with a gun.
Officer Ford approached the suspect and took him into custody without incident. The suspect was a 15 year old who was armed with a BB gun. As a result of officer Ford’s work, detectives were able to link the juvenile to a previous armed robbery case.
