                 Officer Caleb Skipper (Eastway Division)

Officer Caleb Skipper is with the Eastway Division of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.  He’s been an officer with the CMPD since 2009 and was recently recognized for his outstanding work.

Since transferring to the Eastway Division, Officer Skipper has truly taken ownership of his response area. More specifically, he has focused his efforts on Eastcrest Drive off of Central Avenue. This area is made up of multiple apartment complexes and occupied by residents of diverse backgrounds.

Officer Skipper has become engaged with the residents and is responsive to their issues and concerns. Officer Skipper routinely makes arrests and completes field interviews on subjects in the area. Many times his arrests result in the seizure of drugs and firearms. These arrests and field interviews are only a small part of Officer Skipper's contribution to his response area. He shares information with the Response Area Coordinators and lieutenant on a daily basis and assists other officers with their investigations.

He is an asset to the Eastway Division and his efforts are outstanding.
