Contact: Rob Tufano, CMPD Public Affairs Office
Steele Creek Division patrol officers have arrested and charged Traivon Allen, DOB: 04/12/1978, for his involvement in several breaking and entering cases.
On March 18, 2014, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Steele Creek Division officers located a vehicle that was wanted in connection with several residential break-ins throughout the city.  Detectives  assisted the Steele Creek Division officers with the investigation and located Mr. Allen inside an apartment in the 13400 block of Arbor Trace Drive.
Officers determined that Mr. Allen had two warrants for Felony Breaking and Entering cases that occurred in the Independence Division and placed him under arrest.  Mr. Allen was then transported to the Steele Creek Division team office where he was interviewed by detectives concerning other breaking and entering cases.
Based on information and evidence that was gathered during the arrest, detectives were able to obtain a search warrant for the apartment on Arbor Trace Drive where Mr. Allen was arrested, and located stolen property from more than a dozen additional breaking and entering cases that occurred in other divisions.  Mr. Allen is facing additional charges regarding those cases.
