 Steele Creek Division Patrol Officers have arrested and charged James Alexander Bankhead, DOB: 09/21/1966, and Aaron Eugene Bankhead, DOB: 02/03/1972, for their involvement in a larceny case that occurred at 10800 Wither Cove Park Drive.
 
On Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at approximately 12:07 p.m., the suspects drove their vehicle around a fence to the rear of the victim business and began to load metal plates onto their pick-up truck.  Steele Creek Division patrol officers arrived on scene while the suspects were loading the metal plates.  Officers immediately detained the suspects and began their initial investigation.  Detectives from the Steele Creek Division were notified and the suspects were transported to the Steele Creek Team Office where they were interviewed.
 
Upon completion of the interviews, both of the suspects were charged with Felony Larceny and transported to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
