The Police Attorney’s Office provides legal counsel to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department which is comprised of 1,615 sworn officers and 550 civilian positions. We specialize in criminal law and procedure, employment and labor issues, contracts, unique civil strategies to abate criminal activity and civil litigation. The Police Attorney’s Office has a staff of five attorneys and two legal assistants.
