There have been more and more Coyote sightings and Mecklenburg County residents are growing more concerned. Although Animal Care & Control cannot assist in Coyote sightings we do wish for the public to stay safe and protect their family and pets.

On Thursday, September 1, 2011, the Humane Society of Charlotte and CMPD Animal Care & Control teamed up again to show their commitment to improving the lives of companion animals in Charlotte at a press conference that was held at the Humane Society of Charlotte’s Spay/Neuter Clinic located at 2646 Toomey Avenue. The event was held to launch Partnership for Pets – Charlotte, a co-branded marketing campaign to educate the community about ways everyone can help build a better community for animals.
