         Committee will be asked to approve the adoption of this plan that establishes a consolidated housing vision for Charlotte.  This plan embraces HUD goals of providing housing, suitable living environments and economic opportunities for low and moderate-income households.
    4.  First Ward Affordable Housing Development - Recommendation to Council
         Committee will be asked to approve a waiver of the Multi-Family Housing Location Policy for a proposed Charlotte Housing Authority (CHA) rental housing development located on E. 6th Street adjacent to the Carole Hoefener Center.
    5.  Review of Mill Properties Foreclosure - Recommendation to Council
         a.  Bid at the foreclosure sale for Johnston Mills Apartments to acquire the property.
         b.  Sell or transfer the City's interest in the Mecklenburg Mill Apartments to a non-profit or quasi-governmental entity to preserve affordable housing.
