Life Insurance
The City offers basic life insurance at no cost to regular employees.  Your basic life insurance coverage is equal to two times your base earnings with a maximum of $100,000. Employees may also purchase supplemental and/or dependent life insurance.

Supplemental Life Insurance
Employees may purchase supplemental coverage in the amount of 1, 2, 3 or 4 times your base annual earnings adjusted to the next highest multiple of $1,000 with a maximum of $700,000. The employee pays the full cost of this benefit.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment
AD&D insurance pays a benefit to you if you're seriously injured in an accident or to your beneficiary if you die as the result of an accident.  Your AD&D coverage is equal to two times your base annual earnings up to a maximum of $100,000 and is provided at no cost to you.
