Public input opportunities on Airport Governance through April 22; video available
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wednesday, April 17, 2013

More than 40 area residents and elected officials attended a public meeting last night to give input on pending legislation regarding governance of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The City of Charlotte sought public comment as part of an independent study to ensure that the public and decision-makers are aware of all potential outcomes.

The meeting provided a mechanism to hear from the local community on the issue. For those unable to attend the last night’s meeting, a webcast of the preceding is now available at the Airport Governance Study website, http://airportstudy.charlottenc.gov.

The public can continue to provide comment via the airport governance study web site through Monday, April 22. The comments received online will be forwarded directly to the study consultant for inclusion in the final report, to be issued May 1.
