36th Street-Road Closure 6-16-14

Closure dates: June 16, 2014 to Fall 2016
 

To accommodate construction for the LYNX Blue Line Extension, 36th Street will close between Davidson Street and North Tryon Street on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 9 a. m. for approximately two years. During the duration of this closure, motorists can use the detour route of Davidson Street, Jordan Place, Matheson Avenue, and North Tryon Street (shown in blue below).
 
  • Local access will be maintained to businesses and parking facilities.
  • Local access will be maintained to Cullman Avenue, Benard Avenue and Ritch Avenue from North Tryon Street.
  • Pedestrians will not have access across the railroad tracks on 36th Street between Davidson Street and North Tryon Street.
  • CATS will not be affected.
