Temporary Transit Center and Re-routing
The Charlotte Transit Center (CTC) will temporarily relocate to the corners of Third and South Mint Streets from September 3rd
through 6th, 2012. During that time, bus routes that normally service the transit center will be re-routed to
the temporary transit center. Below are maps outlining the routing bus routes will take in the center city area.
LYNX Light Rail
In addition, the LYNX Blue Line will operate from the I-485 - S. Boulevard Station to the Stonewall Station.
Customers desiring to connect to a bus route will need to deboard at the Carson Street Station. The CTC will return to normal operations the
morning of September 7th.
Transit Center Bay Assignments
Buses arriving at the temporary transit center will always arrive at the same set of bays.
CATS Ambassadors will be on site to direct customers to the appropriate bay for arriving bus routes. The below map provides the routes

Re-Routing Monday September 3rd - Thursday September 6th
Gold Rush Service Routing
The Gold Rush service, the Red and Orange lines, will operate altered routes starting Tuesday September 4th - Thursday September 6th. The Red Line will operate the same route throughout those dates.
The Orange line will operate on two different routes on different days. From September 4th - September 6th the Orange line will use Tryon and Church Streets heading North on Tryon Street. On September 6th the Orange line will use Tryon and College Streets heading South on Tryon Street.
