Routes 17, 51x, 64x, 65x, 74x, 94, 221 and a new route on Highway 51

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is holding open house public meetings to solicit input regarding proposed adjustments to several routes. The open house is designed for you to drop in anytime during the meeting hours.

Independence Boulevard  Corridor

CATS will be discussing proposed bus route changes on Routes 17, 51X, 64X, 65X, and 74X. These proposed adjustments are designed to minimize impacts during construction along Independence Boulevard.  

Matthews-Mint Hill Routes

The proposal for Route 94 is to discontinue service. This proposal is under consideration because of low ridership. A new route on Highway 51 will also be discussed.

CATS wants your feedback and encourages transit customers and members of the community to attend the meeting to hear about this and other proposed changes to these routes. If approved, routes will be adjusted in June 2013.
