St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival

Parade
On Saturday, March 19, 2011 the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade begins on North Tryon and Phifer Streets and runs from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The parade will proceed southbound on Tryon Street to 3rd street. The buses will be following detours during these hours.  If you normally use a bus stop during those hours in an area affected by the parade, please go to the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) at 300 East Trade Street to board the bus.

Festival
On Saturday, March 19, 2011 the annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival begins on South Tryon street between 1st & 3rd Streets and runs from 10:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. This area will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to allow time for staging.  If you normally use a bus stop during those hours in an area affected by the festival, please go to the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) at 300 East Trade Street to board the bus.
