Permanent Relocation of the University Place Park and Ride

Beginning Wednesday, June 1, 2011, the Shoppes at University Place will be entering into a construction project that will prevent CATS customers access to the current park and ride area.  As a result of this construction, CATS is permanently replacing the University Place Park and Ride with a new park and ride facility, Cheddar’s Café Park and Ride.  The Cheddar’s Café Park and Ride located at 620 University Center Boulevard.

From the University Place Park and Ride, continue south on Tryon St., turn right on W.T. Harris, at the second light turn left on McCullough Dr. , make an immediate right onto University Center Blvd., continue through the two stop signs and the Cheddar’s Café Park and Ride facility is located on the left side. The Route 80X will begin serving the Cheddar’s Café Park and Ride on June 1, 2011.  Thus, the University Place Park and Ride will no longer be served by the Route 80X.
