ROUTES 41x, 48x, 53x, 54x, 77x, 80x, 82x, 85x & 88x

Thursday, June 9 detours

Before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9th Trade Street will be blocked at Tryon, but 4th Street will be open until 6:30 p.m.  Outbound buses on 48X, 77X, 80X, 82X, 85X and 88X will operate according to the regular route until 6:30 p.m.  With Trade blocked, outbound buses on 41X, 53X, and 54X will not pick up on Trade between College and Poplar.  People who usually board on Trade between College and Poplar should board these buses at the Charlotte Transportation Center or on 4th St. between College & Poplar.

After 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9th, 4th Street and Trade Street will be blocked at Tryon, and people should board 41X, 48X, 53X, 54X, 77X, 80X, 82X, 85X, and 88X on 4th at the Charlotte Transportation Center or on Trade Street between Poplar Street and Gateway.

Friday, June 10 detours

On Friday, June 10th, both Trade Street and 4th Street will be blocked at Tryon in the afternoon.  Afternoon passengers are asked to board 41X, 48X, 53X, 54X, 77X, 80X, 82X, 85X and 88X on 4th Street at the Uptown Transportation Center or on Trade Street between Poplar and the Gateway area.

Uptown traffic congestion is expected to be heavier than usual.
