Route 40X – Albemarle Road Express and Route 9 – Central Avenue

 On Tuesday, August 7, 2012, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host a public meeting to discuss proposed route adjustments for Routes 40X Albemarle Road Express and 9 Central Avenue. In the fall 2012, CATS new Albemarle Road Park and Ride will replace the existing City Save-a-Lot #1 Park and Ride. Routes 40X and 9 are proposed to serve the new 224 space Albemarle Road Park and Ride. Service to the Eastland Community Transit Center and along Pence Road would no longer be served by Route 40X.
