CVS Caremark Prescription Discount Program

The City of Charlotte has launched the CVS Caremark Prescription Discount program to provide residents with some relief from the high cost of prescription drugs. Made possible through the National League of Cities, Charlotte joins other cities currently enrolled and fully participating in the program. The discount cards may be used by all residents in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and have no age, income or health coverage restrictions. The NLC card can be used when purchasing prescription drugs at more than 100 pharmacies in Mecklenburg County, as well as, more than 59,000 participating retail pharmacies across the country.

Cards are available to the public at no cost at the Charlotte Transportation Center Pass and Information Office located at 310 E. Trade St.
