Public Open Houses for Route 11 North Tryon Service Change

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS)is holding a series of open house public outreach meetings to share information regarding adjustments to the Route 11 – North Tryon. The service adjustments are planned to take effect October 6, 2014.

CATS and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will share information regarding how upcoming construction projects will impact the Route 11. Construction projects for the LYNX Blue Line Extension project will result in the periodic closures of North Tryon Street. A long-term closure of southbound North Tryon Street is planned as part of separate project by the NCDOT to replace creek bridges in September 2014.

The public outreach meetings are an open house format designed for you to drop in anytime during the meeting hours. CATS wants your feedback and encourages transit customers and members of the community to attend the meeting to ask questions and learn
more about the planned changes.
