Countywide Transit Service Plan
Proposed Changes to Express Routes 40x, 53x, 54x, 64x, 65x, 80x, & Gold Rush Red Line
On Thursday, September 8, 2011, (rescheduled from September 1) the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will hold a public meeting to discuss route proposals developed as part of the FY2013-FY2017 Countywide Transit Service Plan (CTSP). The CTSP is a five-year bus improvement plan that will guide CATS' strategy for year-by-year bus service enhancements for Mecklenburg County and the region. As part of the CTSP process, CATS has developed route proposals related to several express routes and the Gold Rush Red Line. CATS wants your feedback concerning the bus route proposals. We encourage transit customers and members of the community to attend. Participants may utilize the Gold Rush Red Line to attend the meeting at the Gateway YMCA in Center City.
