TAKE CATS TO THE CAROLINA FEST

The Carolina Fest is on Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2012, and CATS is ready to take you to the festival.  CATS offers 24 bus routes that will travel into Uptown Charlotte for the Carolina Fest, and several bus routes connecting into the LYNX Blue Line.  In addition, CATS will offer more free parking options on that day.  So leave your car at one of the locations listed and let CATS do the driving to Carolina Fest!  Buses will operate according to a Sunday schedule on Labor Day.

Eastland Mall

5431 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC

Bus Route:  9 Central Avenue (operates every 30 minutes on Labor Day)

Wilkinson Crossing Shopping Center (Wal-Mart on Wilkinson)

3240 Wilkinson Road, Charlotte, NC

Bus Route:  2 Ashley Park (operates every 60 minutes on Labor Day)

UNC-Charlotte

9201 University City Boulevard, Charlotte, NC

Bus Route:  11 North Tryon (operates every 30 minutes on Labor Day)

NOTE:  Parking only permitted at East Deck 2, NOT allowed at other parking areas of UNC-Charlotte

Matthews-Independence Pointe Park and Ride LOT

Bus Route:  17 Commonwealth (operates every hour on Labor Day)

Arboretum Shopping Center

8042 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC

Bus Route:  14 Providence Road (operates every hour on Labor Day)

Valerie C. Woodard Center (Freedom Mall)

3205 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC

Bus Route:  8 Tuckaseegee (operates every hour on Labor Day)

Bus Route:  34 Freedom Drive (operates every 45 minutes on Labor Day)

NOTE:  Park near bus stop at Tuckaseegee and Ashley, but do NOT park in Freedom Family Restaurant lot

Northlake Mall

Bus Route:  7S Beatties Ford to Northlake (operates every 40 minutes on Labor Day)

NOTE:  Park in CATS Park and Ride lot on mall property

The LYNX Blue Line light rail service will start out operating according to its Saturday schedule, but CATS will offer train service every ten minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  CATS also has parking available along the light rail line.  Click on the station below to get direction to the light rail station nearest you:
