Routes 9, 27

Kings Drive at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) remains closed for utility work. Elizabeth Avenue has reopened at the intersection of Kings Drive.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, Kings Drive between East Seventh Street and East Fourth Street will remain closed until Wednesday, December 19 at 4 p.m.

The above routes will detour on all trips.

Routes 9 and 27 (Inbound to CTC) - will use the regular route to 7th & Central, use 7th St. to McDowell Street, and resume the regular route. The closest stops to CPCC will be at 7th & Central or inside the I-277 Loop at Trade & McDowell.

Routes 9 and 27 (Outbound from CTC) - will use the regular route to Trade & McDowell, use McDowell St. to 7th St., and resume regular route. The bus stops at the Aunt Stella Center and CPCC will be out of service. From the Stella Center, customers can go to the bus stop in front of the County Jail on E. Trade St.  The closest stop to CPCC for Route 9 will be the bus shelter on Central Ave. & 7th St. The closest stop to CPCC for Route 27 will be along 7th St. near Memorial Stadium.
