Charlotte, N.C. ─ The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will resume FULL bus operations tomorrow, Friday, February 14, 2014. All express and regional express bus service will operate, as well as neighborhood shuttle services. Due to road conditions, some routes may be on detour and only operate on the main streets. Passengers should be prepared for some delays and check the CATS website/Facebook and Twitter accounts before departing in the morning.
The LYNX Blue Line light rail will operate according to its regular schedule, but could experience delays based on the weather conditions. Customers are reminded to be cautious on station platforms.
Special Transportation Service (STS), which is the door-to-door service CATS provides to the disabled, will also operate as scheduled tomorrow.
CATS will continue to assess conditions and will communicate through our website and Facebook and Twitter accounts, the City/County JIC and local media with the status of bus and rail services based on road conditions.
