CATS Hosts Public Meetings to Discuss Future Route Changes
February 14, 2013

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is hosting a series of public meetings to discuss proposed adjustments to several routes. “Many of the proposals are to implement recommendations included in the Countywide Transit Services Plan,” says Pamela White, Manager of Service Development. “CATS is also adjusting routes that utilize Independence Boulevard to minimize impacts during the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) construction scheduled to start this summer.”

Each meeting will have an open house format. Open houses are designed for attendees to drop in anytime during the meeting hours. Staff will be available to share information, answer questions and gather public feedback. “We encourage our riders to attend the meeting to share their feedback on proposed route adjustments, helping CATS continue to provide great service and connections for our riders,” says White.
