Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) customers and visitors in Center City Charlotte will have plenty of delicious meal choices from local food truck vendors at the temporary transit site located at Third and Mint Streets September 3-5 during the Democratic National Convention (DNC).  The food trucks will be on site from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. all three days.  The trucks will rotate throughout the day.

            The food truck vendors are as follows:
 
            Auto Burger and Fry Guys
            Herban Legend
            Juan Taco
            Napolitano’s
            Smoke and Go
            Sunrise Sandwich Co.
            Turkey And
            Wingzza
 
“It is important for us to offer our customers the same amenities that they have access to on a daily basis,” said John Trunk, CATS Transit Support Services Director.  “We are pleased to offer not only great food selections but to support local vendors at the same time.”

The temporary Transit Center will operate normal business hours.  Along with the food truck vendors, customers will also experience air-conditioned waiting areas, ADA accessible public restrooms, safety and security, and pass sales. CATS Transit Ambassadors will be on site assisting customers with transfers and transit questions.
