IMMEDIATE RELEASE

October 4, 2013

Starting Monday, October 7, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will make minor adjustments to some bus routes. “CATS continues to offer improved transportation choices to the Charlotte region while maintaining route efficiencies,” says Pamela White, Manager of Service Development. Here are some changes occurring on Monday:

7 Beatties Ford – All inbound and outbound trips to Northlake Mall will serve Trinity Road. Service along Feldbank Drive will be discontinued and passengers along Feldbank Drive may access the Route 7N along Trinity Road.

11 North Tryon – Stops near Wal-Mart and Ken Hoffman Drive have been relocated to accommodate construction for the LYNX Blue Line Extension. Additional bus stops will be consolidated to improve the reliability of the route.

22 Graham Street – Weekday service to Prosperity Creek will be adjusted to operate hourly. Service along Claude Freeman Drive will continue to operate every 30 minutes.

29 UNCC – A new southbound trip will be added on weekday mornings from UNC Charlotte to South Park Community Transit Center.
