CATS NEEDS YOUR HELP DEVELOPING COUNTYWIDE TRANSIT SYSTEM PLAN
Charlotte, NC, October 7, 2010 - The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is developing its 2013 – 2018 Countywide Transit System Plan (CTSP) and CATS needs your input. The CTSP provides CATS with a five-year bus service improvement plan for implementation in Mecklenburg County and the region. Once complete, the approved CTSP will guide CATS’ strategy for year-by-year bus service enhancements.
“CATS strives to make improvements to get you where you need to go more efficiently,” said Larry Kopf, CATS Chief Operations Planning Officer and Manager of Bus Operations. “Suggestions and comments from passengers and residents play an important role in preparing the Countywide Transit System Plan.” We encourage you to attend one of the public meetings throughout the community to share your opinion and help formulate the bus service enhancement plan.
CATS will conduct five public meetings throughout the community to gather feedback from residents to help formulate the CTSP. The public meetings are from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The same information will be presented at all meetings.
