INCLEMENT WEATHER TRANSIT INFORMATION IN JUST ONE CLICK         

Charlotte, N.C., December 23, 2010 - When bad weather hits the Charlotte area and you need to know where the buses are running or if the train is on time, log on to www.ridetransit.org  and click on the Alert on the top of the page to see the latest information on transit service.  Alerts will only be posted if transit service is affected.

"As soon as we make a change to any service during inclement weather, our customers will see that change appear on the website,” said Larry Kopf, CATS Chief Operations Planning Officer.  “The information on the web is the same as what our communications personnel are using.  This helps our customers plan their commute during bad weather.”
