Mayor's International Community Awards

The Mayor's International Community Awards has been hosted in partnership with the Office of the Mayor since 1998. This event honors foreign-owned firms in the Charlotte region for their outstanding contributions to philanthropy. Three companies are chosen as winners based on the number of people they employ in the region.

In addition to foreign-owned firms, the Mayor's International Community Awards recognizes three individuals or organizations who have displayed strong leadership and contributed to the development of Charlotte's international community. The three categories for these awards are the Richard Vinroot International Achievement Award, the Patrick McCrory International Entrepreneur Award, and the Global Leader Award.

The 2014 MICA nomination process is now open; please submit nominations by using the links below. Criteria for each award can also be found by following these links.
