For Who: Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners from Charlotte’s international community
who started their business in the last 5 years
By Who: This event will be hosted by the Cabinet in Partnership with Charlotte’s Department
of Economic Development and in cooperation with area Chambers
The objective of this meeting is to offer Charlotte’s International Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners a chance to learn about opportunities and resources available to grow their business in Charlotte.
The meeting begins with networking for the business owners. This is followed by a welcome from Mayor Foxx and introduction to existing resources from the Cabinet and Charlotte’s Economic Development Department. The keynote speaker will be Paul Wetenhal of the Ben Craige Center.
Additionally, there will be workshops to help the attendees enhance their business skills. Space is limited so please identify which workshops you would like to attend when you RSVP.

Furthermore, there will be a panel discussion at the meeting. This panel will be titled “How to Succeed in Charlotte Business.” Panelists are:
They will discuss how working with and giving back to the community can boost a business’s bottom line. They will address what connections and opportunities are created through building a strong connection to the community.
