The objective of this meeting is to offer Charlotte’s International Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners a chance to learn about the opportunities and resources available to help them grow their businesses in Charlotte. This year, the IESBO meeting will focus on assisting restaurant owners and operators with valuable information on marketing, small business loans/grants, code enforcement and health inspections, and more!
Join us for an in-depth presentation on "The 7 Deadly Sins of Failed Inspections," where you will learn valuable tips on how to pass your code and health inspections! There will also be workshops (see below for more details). You will choose TWO workshops to attend when you RSVP.
(You will choose one workshop to attend in Session 1 and a DIFFERENT workshop to attend in Session 2)
Human Resources Workshop - Join The Employers Association for an informative workshop on everything you need to know about employee classifications, wage and hour information, overtime and pay deductions, I-9 forms, unemployment claims, and more!
Small Business Lending Workshop - Did you know that the City of Charlotte administers several financial assistance programs for small businesses? This workshop will review the various financial programs available from the City and its partners, as well as how to determine the financial readiness of your business.
Marketing Workshop - You won’t want to miss this workshop with KW Marketing Consultants on establishing a web presence and the social media tools to utilize to "get found locally.” This workshop will touch on Facebook, Google local, YouTube, Vine, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest.
