International Organizations Meeting
Email Updates

Date: Monday, March 18, 2013
Time: 9:30am - 11:30am
Location: CMGC Room 267

Each year the Charlotte International Cabinet hosts the International Organizations Meeting. This open forum allows representatives from Charlotte's international organizations to brainstorm on the issues that shape our community as a whole.

The meeting is held to help the Mayor and City Council know what topics are of concern to Charlotte's international community. The Mayor typically opens the forum with a short address and then attendees are asked to share their concerns and ideas to address these issues.

This meeting allows the City to field any issues that the international community may be facing before they become major problems. It also offers the City a unique perspective on issues facing every resident, as these particular community leaders bring best practices and new ideas to the table from all over the world.
