Ardrey Kell Road Sidewalk and Pedestrian Beacon

Ardrey Kell Road Sidewalk and Pedestrian Beacon
This project will install sidewalk and a hybrid pedestrian beacon on Ardrey Kell Road east of Travis Gulch Drive.

What's happened? Construction is complete.

What's next? Thr project is in under warranty for one year.

A Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Project
This project will install sidewalk and curb and gutter on the south side of Ardrey Kell Road from Travis Gulch Drive to approximately 250’ east and install a pedestrian hybrid beacon on Ardrey Kell Road where the proposed sidewalk ends.

Objectives:

Improve pedestrian safety
Improve pedestrian accessibility from the residences on the south side of Ardrey Kell Road to Ardrey Kell High School

Cost: $220,000
Please note that the project cost will include all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.

The Engineering & Property Management (E&PM) project team will manage the Ardrey Kell Sidewalk Project through a four stage process. Specific work will be conducted during each stage with an emphasis on public involvement during the planning and design phases.
