Harlee Avenue / Stafford Drive Realignment

This project will align the Harlee Avenue/Stafford Drive intersection.

What's happened? City staff worked with QK4 consultants to plan and design the improvements.  Planning, design, real estate acquisition and construction are complete.

What's next? The landscaping contract will enter the bid phase in October or November and landscaping will be installed in Winter 2009.

A 2000 Transportation Bond Project

This intersection project will align Harlee Avenue with Stafford Drive at a single, signalized intersection with Wilkinson Boulevard. Proposed improvements include roadway construction, resurfacing, drainage, curb and gutter and sidewalk.

Objective:

  • Improve the safety and functionality of the intersection of Harlee Avenue, Stafford Drive and Wilkinson Boulevard.
  • Provide safe and comfortable pedestrian amenities.
Cost:  $2,250,000
Please note that the project cost will include all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
