MAYOR FOXX TO HOST TWO TOWN HALLS ON APRIL 24, 2012

                6-7 p.m. at Indepdendence High School* (address below)
                8-9 p.m. at Myers Park High School (address below)

                Questions during both Town Halls will be reserved for Charlotte residents.
                * Mayor Foxx will hold a press availability immediately following the Town Hall at Independence  
                High School at 7:05 p.m.

WHERE:   Independence High School (Mall Area), 1967 Patriot Drive, Charlotte, NC 28227
                Myers Park High School (Auditorium), 2400 Colony Road, Charlotte, NC 28209

WHY:      Mayor Anthony Foxx will host two public Town Halls to speak directly with Charlotte residents 
                about issues in front of the Charlotte City Council and address their questions and concerns. The 
                mayor will start each Town Hall with brief remarks and then open the floor for questions. The 
                Mayor's Office staff will provide follow-up to constituent service requests as needed.
