Mayor's Programs

Mayor Anthony Foxx is committed to strengthening the economy and improving the quality of life in Charlotte. Through his support of the Mayor's Youth Employment Program and the Mayor's Mentoring Alliance, he hopes to achieve these goals while improving the lives of Charlotte's youth.

The Mayor’s Youth Employment Program (MYEP) creates meaningful opportunities where youth are exposed to careers and gain an understanding of the skill sets and qualifications needed to succeed in the future. Click to learn more about MYEP, its participants and how you can get involved.

The Mayor’s Mentoring Alliance is a coalition of 50 existing mentoring organizations that work together with a primary focus on providing positive role models for young people in areas ranging from academic assistance to leadership development.
