NAEH is a leader in the movement to create and successfully complete 10 year plans to end homelessness. They maintain a library of best practices and currently have all of the presentations posted from their summer conference in D. C. which includes some of the most well-known homelessness researchers and practitioners. The NAEH addresses homelessness within all population subgroups.
University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice
This site catalogs the work of Dennis Culhane, one of the foremost researchers in homelessness. Among many other research distinctions with various population groups, his research was the first to help us understand that while chronically homeless individuals comprise less than 10% of the homeless population, they use a disproportionate amount of resources. This site includes newspaper editorials (e.g., L. A. Times, The Washington Post), government reports (e.g., HUD Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress), and research. Dr. Culhane is currently the Director of Research for the National Center on Homelessness among Veterans.
