The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management Office (CMEMO) is a local government agency which coordinates large-scale emergency situations in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. 

If an emergency extends beyond Charlotte and/or Mecklenburg the CMEMO works in coordination with other county emergency departments, the State Emergency Office or the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Charlotte's agency assist emergency response departments with specialized needs and provides detailed planning procedures for incidents requiring multi-agency participation.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Emergency Management Office operates as a division of the Charlotte Fire Department.
