Little Sugar Creek Greenway - MidTown Park
Proposals for the construction of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, MidTown Park.

Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, on February 24th, 2011, in the office of Real Estate Services Department, at 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 101, Charlotte, NC, 28208, for the construction of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, MidTown Park at which time and place Bids will be opened and read aloud. Single-prime, lump sum bids will be taken for construction as indicated in the bidding documents. Proposals must be made on standard forms furnished by the County. The project is located on Kings Drive between Metropolitan Ave. and Pearl Park Way.

The Contractor can purchase the Bid Documents only from Torrence Document Services Charlotte, NC, (704)-333-3009. The cost of the Bid Documents is Non-refundable. Drawing will be available for purchase on January 31st.

Plans and Specifications shall be on file at Charlotte the Association of general Contractors (AGC), McGraw-Hill Construction, Metrolina Minority Contractors Resource Center, and Mecklenburg County Women & Small Business Enterprise Program Office (M/W/SBE).

Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds shall be required for this project.
The laws of North Carolina and applicable regulations of various Licensing Boards and Mecklenburg County M/W/SBE provisions will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts.

A pre-bid meeting shall be held on February 3rd at 2:00 PM, on site at Kings Drive and Pearl Park Way.

Mecklenburg County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or technicalities, as it may deem to be in its best interest.
