If you see a North Carolina registered vehicle traveling in Mecklenburg County smoking for more than 5 consecutive seconds, and are concerned about the pollution from the vehicle deteriorating the air quality in Mecklenburg County, please call MCAQ at 704-336-6859 or use the form below.
The following information is required for MCAQ staff investigations:
1. North Carolina license plate number
2. Make of Vehicle (Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, etc.)
3. Location, date and time of observation and the observer's name and address
