Training Course Descriptions   

CFT 101: Intro to System of Care and Child and Family Teams.  Will provide basic understanding of the Wraparound approach and Child and Family Teams (CFT's) including an overview of the planning process and the basic roles and responsibilities of Team members.

CFT 201: Introduction to Child and Family Team Coordination.  To provide a brief overview of all four phases of Wraparound and to build skills related to Phase 1:  Engagement and Team Preparation.

CFT 202: Strengths, Needs and Culture Discovery for Child and Family Teams.  To develop a foundation for utilizing a strengths-based approach in service and support of youth and families and to develop skills for creating a Stengths, Needs and Culture Discovery.

CFT 203: Creating Natural Supports Through Child & Family Team Planning. You will be introduced to the concept of Natural Supports and will practice tools to identify resources for Child and Family Teams that need them.

CFT 204: To understand and build necessary skills for strengths-based plan development for Child and Family Teams.

CFT 205: Crisis Planning for Child & Family Teams.  This training is designed to understand and build necessary skills for crisis planning.

CFT 304: To further develop skills (coaching, giving feedback and conflict resolution) related to Engagement and team Preparation.

Incident Response Process: Overview of Incident Response Process as it relates to IRIS.

IRIS Training: Overview of State IRIS training.

NC-TOPPS: Provides general training on the NC-TOPPS processes and NC-TOPPS procedures as they relate to the Local Management Entity (Mecklenburg County LME) expectations.

Time for Court: A worker's practical guide to Family Court in Meck County. Learn to descirbe SOC and the 10 principles, describe Family Court, explain how Family Court and SOC fit together, identify key Court professionals, & have a working knowledge of Court information.

On April 3rd we discussed Fraud, Waste and Abuse, Click HERE to view the YouTube videos and powerpoint.

 

On March 13 we discussed Utilization Management,click HERE to view the YouTube videos and powerpoint. Providers had the opportunity to ask questions regarding authorizations, claims, contracts, etc. Providers were also given the opportunity to write their questions down on cards. The various Service Management departments have answered these questions and here they are!

Recovery Model Training
Offered by Mecklenburg Promise - a resource for consumers, families and service providers to learn about Recovery through training, consulting, peer support, and advocacy.

Target Population Self Guide
Synopsis: a self-paced orientation to the concept of target populations.
Note: Target Population Training is no longer offered as a face to face class
