A Special Meeting of the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. (dinner) with a budget workshop starting at 5:00 p.m. in Conference Center Room CH-14 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, located at 600 East Fourth Street.
 
The purpose of the meeting is to review the County Manager’s proposed budget for FY2012-2013, and to take action as may be deemed appropriate.  The meeting may be recessed to another date, time and location and would be announced.  A schedule of the recessed meeting dates is on file with the Clerk to the board; however, the Board is not required to adhere to the proposed schedule.

A Special Meeting of the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 beginning with dinner at 5:00 p.m. in Conference Center Room 267, Second Floor of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, followed by a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. in the Meeting Chamber of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, located at 600 East Fourth Street.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the County Manager's Recommended Budget for FY 2012-2013 and to take action as may be deemed appropriate.

The Board will convene to present the County’s 2012 Legislative Agenda to Mecklenburg County’s State Legislative Delegation; and to take action as may be deemed appropriate.
