November is Homeless Awareness Month.
Local public awareness events are organized in recognition of November as Homeless Awareness Month. Our goal is to raise community awareness of homelessness and the many opportunities to help reduce and eliminate it.
A candlelight vigil sponsored by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Homeless Services Network was held at the wall near the Hal Marshall Center in memory of all of the homeless or formerly homeless neighbors that have died during the year.
For additional information on the candlelight vigil email Peter Safir or call 704-336-3100.
