Following the neighborhood clean-up, the neighborhood leaders came together with the PSN Task Force, Faith Community, Local Business Leaders and neighborhood residents of all ages to hold a peace march and crime watch rally. The March began at the corner of Kennon and Pegram streets, the intersection designated by community leaders as the first location for a 90-Day strategy to reduce gun crime and violence at a localized level. The peace march and rally were part of the first steps (Phase I) in the plan.
A series of pictures best depict the energy, enthusiasm, and collaborative efforts of this important day in the history of this community.
