This office ensures compliance with contract provisions between Mecklenburg County and Carolinas HealthCare System. Carolinas HealthCare System is the largest hospital system and the only hospital system in the area that manages public health services. Strategic planning and policy development within this office establishes sound services and operations that ultimately improve community health outcomes. Contract services include Child Service Coordination, Pediatric Dental Health Services, School Health, Immunization Outreach, Family Planning Clinic, Maternity Care Coordination, WIC Services, Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings, Mammography Screenings, Intensive Home Visiting Services, Community Health Education/Promotion, Community Alternative Programs (CAP), Children's Special Health Services, HIV Outreach, Testing and Case Management, Refugee health Clinic, STD Clinic, Tuberculosis Clinic, and support services including the Medical Director, Fiscal Services, Medical Records, Data and Information, Epidemiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy and Information Services.
