10/5/2011
The Mecklenburg County Health Department reminds residents that vaccinating their pets against rabies is an important step to keep them safe.
The Mecklenburg County Health Department reminds residents that vaccinating their pets against rabies is an important step to keep them safe.
So far this fall, there have been several cases of rabid raccoons, foxes, and even a coyote. In most cases when a family pet was involved, it was not vaccinated and had to be euthanized. This can be prevented by taking advantage of one the many
FREE rabies vaccination clinics
in the county. If your pet is vaccinated, it is safe.
