5 Steps to Creating a Healthy Snack Bar
  1. snack basketFind an employee advocate that would like to have healthier snacks in the office.
  2. Use the Healthy Vending Options list as a resource when shopping for snacks.
  3. Ask employee to purchase snacks to stock a small area of the break room or cafeteria. Company will need to provide start up costs, around $50.
  4. Have employee place suggested donation amounts for each item.
  5. Remove Nutrition Facts from boxes of snacks that are not individually labeled and post near snacks so employees can make an informed choice.
