MECKLENBURG COUNTY WEATHER CLOSINGS OR DELAYS TO BE POSTED ON www.4CITIZENHELP.COM

Charlotte, NC - In the event inclement weather closes offices or curtails services in Mecklenburg County, the information will be posted on the County's citizen information Web site, www.4citizenhelp.com.  This service is in addition to being communicated to local broadcast outlets.

Mecklenburg County offices, facilities or services that may be affected by inclement weather include:

- Department of Social Services, including the Senior Citizens Hot Meals program
- Health Department
- Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County
- Park and Recreation Department
- Land Use and Environmental Services Agency
- Women's Commission
- Veteran Services Office
- Tax Collector
- Administrative Services, including Human Resources, County Manager, Elections, Finance, etc.

Mecklenburg County's inclement weather policy does not apply to departments that run 24 hours a day, such as the Sheriff's Office or Mecklenburg County Security.
