The monthly newsmagazine, with host India Lucas, goes on the road to the newly opened Ray's Splash Planet off Irwin Avenue, and highlights this latest indoor water park designed to keep that summer feeling alive year round.

Also this month, Mecklenburg Forum goes behind the scenes for the uncapping of the latest portion of the Sugar Creek Greenway, which will eventually stretch from the South Carolina border into northern Mecklenburg County.

For animal lovers, there are highlights from the opening of Ray's Fetching Meadow, the first off leash dog park in Mecklenburg County. And for business lovers, there are highlights from Ray's Corporate Challenge, an Olympic-like competition pitting executives against one another to raise money to send kids to camp.

Mecklenburg Forum airs Thursday nights at 7 p.m. on The Government Channel. It can also be seen prior to regularly scheduled Board of County Commission meetings at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The show airs daily at 7 p.m. on GOV-TV, Time Warner Digital Cable 232 and on November 9 at 3:30 p.m. on WTVI TV-42, Time Warner Cable 5.
