Seeks Citizen Input on Future Capital Needs
Charlotte, NC - Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department will conduct a series of community workshops to gain citizen’s input on the Department’s 2004-2013 Capital Needs Assessment. Each Park District and Special Facility Advisory Council will conduct a workshop during their regular meeting for their specific geographical or interest area.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and share their input on specific needs- land acquisition, greenway development, park development, park rehabilitation, recreation center development and recreation center rehabilitation. The opportunity will also be given to those in attendance to prioritize the identified needs for each district/special facility. District boundaries can be found at
