PARK AND RECREATION TO OPEN
TWO BOAT RAMPS ON LAKE WYLIE
Charlotte, NC – Two boat launch ramps at Park and Recreation's Copperhead Island on Lake Wylie will open on Saturday, August 31. The ramps were closed due to the low water level. But repairs and additional adjustments have been made to allow certain types of boats to launch safely. Flat bottom boats and most bass boats should experience little difficulty. Larger crafts are discouraged from attempting to launch at this site.
